But I was curious if anyone else that does it draws shapes and things? The first time I ever did it I used a needle to pick a heart into my stomach... at the time it was because relationship problems were what was pushing me over the edge. I realized the scar looked pretty awesome though, and since then when I do it I've used razors to cut a few more hearts and a star on my wrist. I've never actually just cut lines and things like I usually see people do. I sliced in a certain angle that they'd take long to heal and feel like they burned with anything I wore. I was lucky enough to have them healing completely. Yes, you can get addicted to it. And it's a very difficult habit to kick off of. Plus, it hurts everybody that cares about you when they found out. Take it from me, I've cut myself in such a fashion before and it hurt everybody that I care about. And watching them in pain over something so stupid that I did hurts like hell.
