You can manually do this and also some programs ask to install for the current user or all users.

Actually, on my desktop at home the program only installed to the user name I was logged in to. But I didn't really do anything to make it that way.

well. go to the program you want to make private go right click - click properties There should be a sharing tab - click that It'll give you options on how to share that folder. Just simply make that folder private for that user only :]]
