Alright so a lot of you might not know what orienteering is.
(had alot of questions of what this and that was from my other posts) Orienteering is a outdoor sport where basically you have to race by reading a map and navigate to find coordinates after coordinates off of a map. I'm wondering if anyone have done it and what was your experience on it. I almost had the chance but the course was canceled due to extreme heat conditions. I would like to actually get to do it (with night vision and a range finder *not automobile*) at night time. I've learned how to read a topo map. I just have to relearn everything.

I've done it before, just being dumped somewhere with a map. Was fun.
