Anyway, there's this girl I'm friends with and I was wondering what I should do if she expects me to go to school dances and stuff like that? The thing is, I don't go to school dances basically because I don't know how to dance and I don't want people to be watching me while I look awkward. Dances just aren't my thing and the prom is coming up this year. My mom wants me to go, but I don't know if I'd be comfortable and I don't think I want to go either. I just don't want to disappoint her and my mom.  I hope I don't sound silly, it's just something that bothers me.
