You should put RAM into your computer.

What are you going to be using this PC for??

Q6600 is a good processor for bang per buck.
also a 680i chipset motherboard go for a decent price now
2-4 Gb of ddr2 ram 800mhz/1066 depending on what your motherboard takes
Midrange gpu: Ati 3850 or 8600gt
Better gpus: 9600gt, 8800gt, 8800gts
best: 9800 or 9800gx2 or ati 3870x2
450-600 watt psu depending on vcard selected
any 7200 rpm hdd should do depending on how much you plan to store.

My recommendations
Duel Core intel CPU
4gb RAM
8000 or 9000 Series Nvidia Graphics card
320 GB HDD
All the extras etc depending on your budget. What are you going to use this computer for? gaming I assume?

i'm with dickij03 on this one but i would go with the nforce 7 series
if you have the money so you dont have to upgrade soon as the nforce 6 series (i have it).

make sure you have good cooling and i wouldn't suggest water cooling or big heatsinks that stand way up over the cpu. get a case that has 120mm fans.

What's the primary purpose for the new PC?

Furthermore, what's your total price limit?

Message me if you want me to give you some good parts to buy. Umm, I will also need to know your price range.
