Yeah, the news here isn't making a huge deal of it either. Certainly not as big a deal as 1 Australian dying overseas. But who wants to ruin the anti-China from the recent Tibet issue right? China's had a lot of issues lately though.. a bit weird. Early this year, there was an almost nation-wide snow disaster (not sure if there was much coverage where you live) where many died, and domestic travel was brought to a halt for weeks during the busiest time of the year (Chinese New Year).
