My first semester of college, I failed everything because i never opened a book admittedly i was wrong and it wasn't at all like highschool. SO my next semester i took two out of the 3 classes i was failing and focused on them both. I was more determined to pass them with the thought i was acing my computer lit class. I asked everyday how i was doing and she pretty much ignored me well what i didn't realize is when i was out a few days with pneumonia i missed like 4 assignments. With them lingering along with poor test grades i got like a 58 in the class after handing in allll my assignments that i was missing. I still ended up failing by a freaking point. I'm visually impaired so i had the commission for the visually impaired paying my way, but i now only have a 1.0 and they won't continue to pay until i get above 2.0. SO now i'm horrified trying to come up with the money for spring. I only get 450 a month and my summer course will be 470 so i'm gonna like borrow 20 from my mom. But idk how i'm going to pay the over a grand in the spring. GOing to work and save my money and hope that i can pass and get over a 2.0 I am just fucked. I can't believe that i focused on the stuff i failed and ended up failing the class i thought i could ace. just scared disappointed and horrified right now Oh and FYI i did pass the classes i originally failed.

Why weren't you on top of your grade? Usually college students are.

Can you apply for financial aid?

Its a great thing you passed the one you originally failed . . at least something did get through . . There is also something very important we have to consider - balance. Take things slowly one hour at a time, 1 topic at a time, more importantly don't waste your time doing less important things .. Health of course comes first. . . It would be a good idea to work part time, if it doesn't put too much strain on you. More importantly, I believe it would be a good idea to have someone with you in this, that can be reached anytime, your parents a friend, that really helps emotionally. . . Well, suck it up for now, things will get better soon, it seems like the college itself is kinda messed up . . Either way, don't push yourself too hard, take time to let out the stress, then get back to what you have to do . . .
