Auto mode is good, but it doesn't really hit the nail on the head like aperture priority does. Then everything else depends on what I'm shooting. Although i would only really use aperture priority, shutter priority and manual. Never use auto or any of the pre-programmed scenes. I also always keep it in auto-focus these days... simply because it's faster than me. Although for some set-ups i do use manual, especially for time-release stuff, or things in the dark where it probably wont be able to find a lock. You can't really use anything else if you're in the studio, and I guess I'm just used to it now. However, if I'm drunk and out with friends, it just gets switched straight to program. Ha :D
