I've noticed that a lot of times, people make noises or grunts when they they someone isn't in there (but obviously I was haha).  Do you notice this too?   And I have been told than men don't care as much as just kinda let loose...Like there are NO urinals in their bathrooms, so they just piss with the door open..so when a door is closed that means they're taking a shit. I'm the type that likes to wait til everyone leaves... but my general experience has been that most no one else seems to care. They seem to prefer to shit as fast as they possibly can, however much that may contribute to a variety of sounds the rest of us would rather not hear.. and that, were I them, I'd prefer others to not hear me making =P -- Posted by ATTI at 9:29 pm on May 16, 2008 I lived in a dorm for seven years, and no, I never experienced this problem, sharing a bathroom with 3 other boys. However, my suitemate's atrocious singing in the shower every morning, that was a problem. I did hear about that a lot, though.
