So alot of people don't have alot of posts, but they still have as many points as me.

I believe the point system should be redone here, it seems to be buggy, and I believe that points should be like 90% influenced by posts.

Anyone agree or am I over thinking this?

You're over analyzing the situation.

No. I have plenty of reward points, and then lots of points from polls, as well as all my daily points.

I say over thinking

I think it depends if you do other stuff more or post because that will effect the point number, if it counts more towards posts and you don't post a lot.

Some get their points when they refer a friend. That is the incentive of Refer A Friend.

Points are not a big deal and they are extraordinarily easy to earn. I've given away over thirty thousand points and I'm still customizable.

Post count is hardly an indicator of influence or seniority on this site, that little "Joined" tick in the bottom of each post is.

what makes you think it's buggy

Points don't really matter, they don't do much.

I pay more attention what I read and see of the way people act, not how big there e-peen is.

That was a bad choice of words.
Buggy as in Not Perfect.
