Both were shot in the presence of their wives 2. Kennedy's killer came from a warehouse and hid in a movie theater and Licolns killer hid in a warehouse after he was at the theater 3.Both killers go by their full names John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald 4. Kennedy's secretary was Lincoln 5. Lincoln's secretary was Kennedy 6. Both shot in the head 7. kennedy shot 1963 lincoln shot in 1863 8. Bush elected on a '00 year has been asscinated FOR REAL Actually, it's more like every president between William Harrison elected in 1840 to Ronald Reagan elected in 1980 who was elected on a year that ended with 0 had died in office (not assassinated - big difference).  Harrison (1840) died of pneumonia or something, Lincoln (1860) was assassinated, Garfield (1880) was assassinated, McKinley (1900) was assassinated, Harding (1920) died of some medical problem, FDR (1940) died of a medical problem (though it's a stretch since he died in his 1944 term, just as Lincoln died in his 1864 term), JFK (1960) was assassinated, and Reagan (1980) broke this streak (though he did have an assassination attempt on him). By the way, as for the OP, you can find coincidences in so many different things.  It's just a matter of which you choose to highlight (what is coincidental) and what you choose to ignore (the majority, which is basically everything else).  A classic example of confirmation bias. -- Posted by jonny5 at 12:23 pm on June 3, 2008 Lincoln was shot in 1865 dumbass, the Civil War wasn't even over in 1863.
