-- Posted by Anonymous at 1:41 pm on June 3, 2008 I think some people in my college (freshman '12) are picking roomates from facebook .. it's not that i find it abnormal or anything, but it sounds a little weird to me just cause it's facebook & i guess i dont want to blame myself for picking a bad roomate lol. Adding people & saying what's up is not really my style (& i dont mean it in a cocky way at all). But, should i be doing this? We were at a scholarship day and asked if we were looking for roomies. She doesn't drink or smoke, I know she studies, which means that she will let me get my stuff done. We didn't know each other at all, but picked to be roomies-at least I know its someone thats not the total opposite of me. And I added a bunch of other freshman on facebook--kinda get to know people, find out if we have classes together, find carpools! and I think a group of us are going to a concert right before we move in to get to know each other more. -- Posted by HatesYou at 5:42 pm on July 10, 2008 I didn't pick my roommate.
