OK, my dilemma. My friend's period was late. I don't know "how many days late" or if she's gotten her period by now.... She claims her periods are often a little messed up and especially because she is at home and not college anymore for the summer. Maybe she's extra stressed, etc. and I know that affects a menstrual cycle (also, her roomie and herused to have their periods around the same time). BUT...I am pretty sure she is sexually active with her boyfriend. I never asked her this, but I would well assume that she had sex with her boyfriend at least 1 time before they left for home. Right?? We had many reading days and days off before finals, and I'm sure they would have done something sexual then (it was also his birthday and then her birthday...and they would have wanted to have goodbye sex before leaving). Though I do believe they use condoms...but I know for a fact she does not take birth control pills. OK, so my question is: IF you have had sex, do you ALWAYS take a pregnancy test NO MATTER WHAT ELSE? Like, do you believe she shoud have at LESAT considered pregnancy a possiblity??

Just get her tested. Its a precaution which is needed. Female frinds of mine have done it after sex even when they have used a condom.

okay you can take a test a week later if you want ya know to be safe then sorry but if he had a condom and it didn't break then you really shouldn't worry to much

Baha. Fuck no. If I'm using condoms I don't take a pregnancy test. If she's a few weeks late then I'd tell her to take a test, but the fact that you don't even know if she's actually having sex... just let her live her own damn life, or be reasonable and actually ask her about it.
