I started this job about three months ago and its going pretty well but I worry about the number of hours I get. For the most part I tend to get less hours than the other people. There have been a few weeks where that hasn't been the case but for the most part that's what happens. Everyone else was scheduled for 30-40 hours and I was scheduled for 24 this week. Now no one has had any problems with me that I know of, they were very patient in training me and thought I caught on pretty quickly, I've never been late for work, and I've gotten two pay raises in the three months I've been there (from $8.00-$8.50 and from $8.50-$8.75), and it could just be because I'm the new kid compared to everyone else there, but I guess I just worry about it.

It's down by seniority. Obviously you get the least hours.

Just ask. Maybe they are unsure whether you want more or not. You can always ask if someone wants you to take a shift of theirs. People asked me to do that all the time and I was always happy to take their shifts.
