For my next painting Ive decided to do one showing a figure. The painting is more about the essence of the moment than what is happening. It depiects a boxer, holding the punchbag tenderly, obviously there is somethign happening elsewhere in his life, and the punchbag is supposed to be someone. It will be acrylic paints on A1 paper Ive draw 2 very basic compositions and im inclined to go with the first one, but which one do you think is better at achieving emotions? Sorry for them being on the wrong side, adn I think the bag might be a little low.

the second one. i really like your ideas, is it like the boxer has a love/hate relationship with someone and takes out his emotions on the punch bag? or am i getting it all wrong? well i like it anyway, nice job! =)
