When I was talking to the boy that I liked, for once, I'm quite shy... my teacher found out I signed up for AP Art history. The only art his. class. She said this was way above 'my skill' level, and I wouldn't succeed in it. She said it's a lot of memorization and she's going to have my counselour change it immediantly. I felt like crying. I really want to take this class. I didn't really stick up for myself because I was in shock. I mumbled harshly like, "Uh huh... yeah, right.. gotcha." and shot her a bitchy glare. But there's nothing I can really say. I told my dad about it.. he said he wanted to call and yell at her. But I don't want to cause unnecessary drama. It just really hurt. I wished I had a teacher like that when I was in school. There was one time where a teacher was calling me and I refused to answer, then I told her something and she said "Its my right to call your name" and I responded without hesitation "And its my right nor to answer you". You need to give these teachers a taste of their own medicine or they will continue to do it to you all the time. Show them that you have no plans of letting them do this crap to you and get away with it. It's horrible when a teacher discourages a student like that.
