So lets say someone makes a reply to a topic and its flat out rude to the topic maker. like they make fun of them or something, what do you hide the post under?

If there is a contribution value and its not spam (idk what kind of idiot spams on this site.........), then nothing.

We arent here to correct manners.

'being cool'

but seriously, I'd just say it was non-contributive.

i don't see a "flat-out rude" option for hiding, so maybe that's telling you something.

You can't hide something just because it's rude. If it doesn't contribute or is just spam, then sure, hide it, but otherwise, you leave it.

There is a 'vulgar/abusive' option available.

I would say it depends on what it says as to whether or not you hide it.

It could also go under non-contrib if it is non-contrib as well.

I would leave it and let the OP report it to the mods if they really wish to have it removed.  I usually don't mess with hiding "abusive" posts like that, as I find that it's more of something between the OP and that specific poster - I only remove the ones with obviously no contribution value.  So perhaps if the poster in question only said "fuck you" to the OP and nothing else, I'd vote to hide it under that and consider reporting it if it's in a support forum.
