I don't think you should go rushing in and letting all your feelings for her out, not until you've been out a few times and have gotten to know eachother better, y'know? Taking her out on a few dates would also allow her to spend time alone with you and get to know you personally - that way she'll be able to decide whether or not she likes you or the other guy better, in a romantic sense. I think, first and foremost, you should ask her out on a date. Providing she says yes take her to he cinema, dinner, something like that. Find something about her she changed. Shoes, earrings, hair, etc. 2. Notice this. Out loud. If she starts a conversation with you, go with it and let her do most of the talking, casually ask if she's heard of x movie, make sure it's a movie she's likely to want to see. Tell her that you want to go watch that movie too, "but I need a girl to go with me so my friends don't think'm gay or something." Smile, show her your palms during the conversation, and throw in a few subtle nods at key points. OR just do it how I would do it and directly state "Hey Alice, I'm going down to the movies tonight, I don't want to go alone and I've always thought you were a really interesting girl, want to go along? I'll buy the popcorn." Unless she's a prude bitch I doubt she'll say no unless you are known as like a creep or something. It's really easy and you don't even have to be good at it man, you just have to actually have the balls to ASK in the first place. 3. Later that day (hours later)
