The pet shop sells them for outrageous prices, but no other stores around here have any rat cages. If you think it's worth it, then do it. Especially if you're breeding them and then reselling them. Eventually it'll pay for itself. Either that, or look at fleamarkets and such for a used one. They'd die pretty quickly. I'm sorry, but unfortunately, making the cages are more expensive than breeding rats which means they'll obviously be a lot more expensive in price.
