http://www.comcast.net/articles/news-science/20080616/SCIENCE-SPACE-PLANETS-DC/ What do you think? Do you think we'll ever, efficiently, be able to travel between planets, or perhaps live on them?

Sure, if time allows.

wow thats amazing thankyou for sharing that i was thinking that one day we could have to move to one of these planets
-- Posted by HijackTheBride at 6:31 am on June 16, 2008
That's cool! I doubt humans will get there though
-- Posted by daniellamarie29 at 6:31 am on June 16, 2008
I think it could happen. That would be really cool.

We yeah will one day but not in our lifetimes though.

I want it happen with our life time period.

I don't fancy being part of a colonisation effort. I dread to think what nasties I'd have to deal with, and that's before we get above the rigors of a completely alien setting, and possibly single cell life forms.

yes. but in thousands of years....or maybe hundreds.
-- Posted by Latin Muscle at 8:33 am on June 16, 2008
I would say hundreds.... Maybe our kid's children will be able to live on the moon....after that...their children on the moon will have kids who will be able to live on other planets.

Moon kids will have a lot less of a chance of living on other planets than we will. Earth-born children would be able to innately tolerate 5 times as much gravitational pull as Moon-born children.

'Moon kids'...hahaha i like that. And yes, you are correct.

Maybe in thousands of years. We still haven't reached the outskirts of our own solar system. Furthermore we just know these planets look like Earth... Nothing else.

Exoplanets are cool. Some of them are earthlike. Maybe we aren't alone...
