Hey everyone! I was wondering if any soprano 1 singers or anyone with any experience with singing can help me out. I am a soprano 2/alto singer but want to learn how to sing higher notes with more sound. Does anyone have any specific vocal exercises to help me sing higher AND louder?

all you need to do is take a deep breath in and tense your diaghram (in your stomach) and just belt it out - that should make it louder

Try swimming. holding your breath will strengthen your muscles. also, see into professional singing classes. btw, please dont go near your balls.

You need to do specific vocal practices and train/practice a buttload. I can't really sing over the internet as to how the vocal practice goes lol

You guys are so immature. 1. I'm a girl. 2. What kind of useless advice is that?

The useless advice from the first two posters, FYI.

It's all in exercising. Do scales up and down. And then go up scales holding notes for 8 counts. You just have to build your strength really. I'm sorry I'm not much help, I've been doing lessons for almost a year now, but I only needed to go for stage presence

If you're not a first soprano, it's going to be extremely hard for you to get up to a high octave level. If you continual practice singing a high note song, you might train your voice. Other than that, it's almost impossible. Voice lessons?
