I was with my cousin and her boyfriend yesterday and I was yeah me and your boyfriend are the guest! she said " he is not a guest" I think that was rude of her to say

He is her boyfriend, that wasn't rude. You were the guest, she let you come along with her and her boyfriend when they could have been together privately.

depends on how she said it. PERSONALLY i don't think it's rude because by saying he's not a guest it sounds like she's saying he's more like 'a part of the group' or whatever
