I'm attending uni this coming fall and my freshman schedule is as follows:

M, W, F/
- Liberal Arts Math (mandatory)
9 AM - 9:50 AM

- Intro to Cultural Anthropology
10 AM - 10:50 AM

Tu, Thurs
- World Civilization to 16c
10 AM - 11:15 AM

- Intro to Philosophy
11:30 AM - 12:45 PM

- Intro to Human Communication (mandatory)
1 PM - 2:15 PM

So, yeah. 15 units. They recced only 12 but I wanted to do extra just to sort of prepare myself for harder classes in the future. I feel like maybe getting another class, therefore 18 units, but I'm scared, haha.

I'm planning to major in Ling, but I opted not to take any classes for that right now since the GE class I can take for it doesn't count towards the major. But should I just drop Anthro and take Intro to Ling?

This is just a tentative schedule as I haven't registered classes yet. I just want to make sure from others that this would be a good schedule.
