Little did we know that it's possible to get pregnant with that.. Well, I wasn't worrying too much about it when I first found out on the internet. But, lately, I've had the weirdest symptoms (cramps, tender breasts/nimples, mood swings, awful nausea without vomiting) within the past 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the symptom. I haven't had my period yet this month, I was expecting it around the 15th, I know it's not too late, but I know I was ovulating during the last couple of times we had sex. I've told my boyfriend about it and we've been waiting for my period the last couple of days, with no luck. I would take a pregnancy test but I don't have any money right now and I don't want my parents to find out that I'm sexually active (for religious reasons). Also, I'm pretty sure my health insurence will drop me once they find out, because it's a child's insurence (until age 18) and it doesn't cover that stuff anyway. My boyfriend is completely supportive. How can I deal with the worry of being pregnant? What are SURE WAYS to know that I'm pregnant? Should I abstain from sex or any other touching down there until I know? Do you think I'm pregnant? Or am I worrying about nothing? I do have a plan of what I'll do if I really am pregnant.. I'm just worried mostly about what people will think about me and how me and my family will handle the costs of having a baby. (I would do adoption, though) My family isn't the richest in the world... The fact that you didn't know about the withdrawal method not being effective shows you didn't know much about sex before hand. Your knowledge failed you. This is why you should ALWAYS use protection, whether it's condoms, the pill, implant, patch or injection. They are ways you are protected from pregnancy. In future i hope you think about things before you even open your legs for sex! You need to take a pregnancy test, as that is the only sure way for you to find out if you are pregnant. You seem to have said some of the symptoms which might be caused for pregnancy. One thing though however have you ever had a late period before? It's good to know that you have your boyfriend's support however you will have to talk to your parents if you are pregnant because they will figure it out, also they might not know you are sexually active and you might be religious but it will be found out eventually.  As for religious reasons I'm betting you won't be allowed to deal with such as thing as an abortion, however find out for sure if you are pregnant first then talk to your parents about the pregnancy.
