Lost so much respect for a person that you question whether there is any worth in staying in contact with them?

Dare i also be so prudent to ask if this has happened, why? What was the crossing line.

I moved to Mountain View for a total of 8 months this past school year, and a few of the "friends" that I made while there were soooooo superficial and flat out assholes that when I moved away I'm glad to never have seen some of them again.

That happened with me and my half brother.

And basically all of my Dads side of the family.

And I once had this friend who lived his life as a lie, every word that came out of his mouth was complete bullshit. I lost respect for him, don't speak to him any more.

Yes, a friend of mine stole from me. We haven't spoke for 5 years now.

I have, sadly, and it is such a conflicting feeling.

Not really. However, a friend did something a few weeks ago and I did lose some respect for her over it.

Yes. I have a friend, and she would always speak of her ex and how she still loved him. But then a 3 days later we went bowling with a group of friends and she brought a boy along. I thought "Yayyy, she's over her ex."

So when i asked her about him the following day she said he's just a friend. They were making out in the bowling alley so i thought "wtf... a friend?" but i simply kept my mouth shut.

The next day she's talking about how she just hooked up with someone. I asked, "The dude from the bowling alley?"
She goes "No, he's still a close friend. I found someone new though."

What a whore...

EDIT: And for some reason i am still friends with her...

i lost a lot of respect for my aunt when she tried to commit suicide that i'm glad that i don't have to see her very often and when i do i don't talk to her very much

A friend I had when I was 11-14. She was a really mean, horrible, vindictive person, and it was always one thing after another. We fell out all the time, so I can't remember what she did that was the final straw. But it was the straw that broke the camel's back, a cumulative thing. We stayed at the same school until we were 18, and she still lives just round the corner from me, but I haven't spoken to her since.

She started acting cheap and i didnt want to be involved with a person that acts like that
