so my friend told me she wanted to go back on her diet and i was like oh! what diet? jealous. i want to! and she was like jstu don't eat ha and i was like morgan nooo. you have to eat you can't do that. so she was just like i do eat just only once a day. and i told her that was still bad, she has to eat more than just ocne a day and she proceeded to tell me how it was ok! she doesn't feel bad afterwards -and i said well, neither do anorexic people-- and she was just like well that's because they're super skinny- and she said she swims all day instead of eating so she doesn't even notice and she wants to get skinny bceause she thinks she's fat. which she REALLY isn't. like honest to god she's no where near fat.

i've had like 3 other friends with eating disorders. i just don't get it. does it seem like she has one? she excersizes a lotttt.

(like... basketball in the morning, runs on tredmill, swims, pole vaults)

(longish, sorry   )

Yes, She does. Just try talking to her more. If it gets to a deadly situation, you have to tell someone...

yeah, kinda does, you should read this:http://www.pale-reflections.com/help_others.asp

geuss it's kinda helpfull.  Bottom line is that one comment, just don't eat, is her cry for help, she means it as a joke, and she knows you'll think it's a joke, but secretly inside she is begging you to open your eyes and help her. As i'm sure you know, ed's are very complicated, she can't come out and ask for help, or gain weight, becuase that would involve betraying the eating disorder, betraying herself, it's much easier to go against her will, and ask her to talk to someone, not force her really, but make it so that it's as if she's doing it for you, no other choice, not doing it for herself
