Many people pay for downloads now, even though the files are encrypted with DRM. Do you?

Hell no. I've bought like 3 songs that I couldn't find elsewhere... and I decrypted them and sent them to people all over after. Muhaha.

Why does it matter. Are you working for the FBI to crack down on illegal downloads.

i use itunes and limewire. itunes only beacuse i've got the iTouch, and i'll buy songs on there when i want to. that's all

i don't download as i'd much rather have the actual cd, because i love looking at the album artwork and tbh im just a cd nerd. lol. but if i was going to download i would definately use a site like itunes as opposed to an illegal one

No DRM is my enemy! Also, when I got an itunes gift certificate and I downloaded the songs they made my iPod sad...

Yes. DRM is an annoyance, but with things like iTunes+ and Amazon MP3 downloads as well as Napster's new venture it's bringing down the barrier. Not only that, but even iTunes music files can be burned to disc and then reimported if you have a big problem.
