i'm going to college in august, but i can't find a summer job. nobody wants to hire someone who will just leave in 2 months anyways.

i'm living on campus next year and i have a meal plan and my parents are gonna pay for my books and all, so everything is taken care of.

but what about for fun? what if i wanna go out to eat with my friends, or go to a club, or go on a date?? i know im gonna get a job next year when i get to college, but what about that first month or so? i'll survive, yes, but i won't have fun at all!!

i have 166 bucks in my pocket.

fuck my life.

Could you find a job near your school, so it appears like you're going to stay for more than two months?

It's not horrible hard to find a job if you are willing to do things you wouldn't normally do. I'd suck it up, get a job for 2 months and take some money to college.

you can get a job now, just don't tell them you plan on leaving in two months.

and if you get a job whilst at college you'll do fine. loads of students have jobs and still manage to have fun - you don't have to work constantly, just enough to give you a bit of spending money.

Try and get one that you will keep when you get to collage...the job near collage...

or dont mention that your leaving in 2 months thats what i done, ill just give a weeks notice that im leaving and thats it

Like everyone else said, if you can't get one now, get one on campus. The lifestyle is much different so getting a job won't be as bad as you think it is. It'll put enough money in your pocket a week where you could still go out and have fun.

babysit, if you are good with kids. Thats what I do about money. I am a nanny on the weekdays, in between classes and I babysit occasionally for extra money.
