does any 1 know anything about this cuz i have a cleft pallet and now theres a whole in the roof of my mouth and it really sucks like yesterday nite i was throwing up (im sic) and most of it went out my nose! it was soo sick! so does any1 know anything about cleft palet / lip -hard or soft palets? just want some info on it cuz i dont know much on it

For cleft palates (better know as hare lips, Tiana), the only real option available to you is reconstructive surgery. There will be a fine tracery of scars after the operation is over, and you may be left with a mild speech impediment - but it is definitely better than the alternative.

A cleft palate is a hair lip - however, it sounds like yours must be rather mild comparatively for your lip not to be split as well.

Hi Im Andrea And I have a cleft palet and ya people make fun of me but f**k them I dont know anything much about it but I hate it
my name is aaron im 17 and i have a hair lip and cleft pallet n i had a hole in the roof of my mouth from birth but had surgery when i was 10 i have a scar on my hip but thats all. i may get teased bout face but in a way im proud coz i am who i am n im sayin no to facial surgery bcoz of it. if u are proud of ur self then u will hve no worrys
A cleft palet or lip is nothing to be made fun of. In fact there are many stars that have one and still went on to lead amazing lives.
